Chapter officers appeal to organized groups, such as Lions Clubs, church organization, schools, etc. With the possibility of many new people coming into the county the need for first aid becomes more apparent. Another valuable service performed by the Garfield County Chapter is the blood program. It provides much needed blood plasma to hospitals. Even though the area is not in want the Red Cross still provides many services for military families. The person to contact for this service is Ingra Richards, Panguitch. Mrs. Richards has spent countless hours helping our servicemen. Chairman Davis appreciates the fine way people of Garfield County contributed to the fund drive. Without the help of everyone, these programs could not be successfully carried out. |
