Show Local Farm Bureau Elects Officers The annual Farm Bureau banquet and election was held Nov. 2 at the Flying M restaurant, with dinner served to 53 members and 9 guests. The tables were decorated with "The Horn of Plenty," dishes of home made candy were given for favors. President James H, Hatch conducted. Prayer and blessing on the food was given by Carl Hatch. Melvin Miller was master of ceremonies. Two musical numbers were presented by the "Six South Ward Tette's ," Carolyn Foy, Jaynell Crosby, Rebecca Dodds, Laurie Holman, Kathy Rlggs and Nancy Barn ey, accompanied by Elizabeth Foy. Two musical numbers were presented by Marilyn Ma-rshall and Rebecca Dodds with guitar accompaniment. Jerold Johnson of Aurora, representing us on the State board of directors from this region, was the guest speaker. Earl Henrie took charge of the. election. He called for nominations from the floor and it was voted unanimously that the same officers be reinstated for another year, so James II. Hatch will continue as president, with George C. Henrie as vice president. Their wives will act in the corresponding rapacity in the women's auxiliary. |
