Show Around and About Boulder BY LENORA LeFEVRE The Sunday School presented the program on Easter with the students and teachers participating. The son of Vard and Mary Jane Coombs was blessed by his father and given the name of Zane Alonzo. Ephriam and Dicey Coombs came to Sacrament meeting for the occasion. Barbara Yon-del of N. Carolina and Reva Kempton of N, M. visited in church and are staying at a motel here. Dorothy and Leona Lyman, Idona Haws, Neta Poulson and Lenora LeFevre attended the Stake Relief Society preparation meeting Sunday at Escalante. Arthur Lyman was granted another 30 day convelescene leave and arrived home Wednesday, Deloras Cook and children spent Easter weekend with her parents the Vern Hansens. The Bill Griffin family, which included Boyd and Trudy Griffin and Evan and Nlckl Ex-cell, the Starns Mechams and Jewel Ivy were Sunday visitors at Rcnon Peterson's home. Last week, Max Behunln, Franklin and Paul Hansen attended a Four Corner Development meeting at Cedar City. Several men attended a similar meeting in Escalante where plans were discussed for a wilderness area on Boulder Mountain. LeFalr and Larena Hall met at Page where they exchanged boys - Terry went to Phoenix to stay the Easter weekend with his mother, and Randy and Robert spent the weekend with their dad. Clea Baker came Thursday to spend a few days with daughter Lorraine Behunln and family, Bernell will return home with her. Gary and Madlyn Haws are parents of a baby girl born 'Prll 8th at Cedar City. The Lelartd Haws were lu Cedar one day this week. LeFair Hall was in Salina. Kay and Murel Coombs and sons moved here from LaSal, he will manage the recently sold Griffin ranch. The Richard Griffins went to Ogden with a load of furniture. |
