Show PANGUITCH Mr. and Mrs. Clem McEwen, Florence McEwen, Nettle Dow-dell, and Mr. and Mrs. Wallace McEwen attended funeral services for Grant Excell, son of Hortense M. Excell. Jed and Verda Cooper are home from a week's visit with son Arthur and family at Ar-gle Texas and a tour of the State's scenic places. Bessie Perkins and son went to Salt Lake to visit daughter Nellyn and her husband Floyd Cox. Medical patients in the hospital are Jean Syrett from Ruby's Inn, Hilda Cameron and Kate Church. Judi Gai Davis had an appendcetomy. Bob Middleton is doing pretty good in the Salt Lake LDS hospital; he Is now on a liquid diet and walking around. Miles and Esther Barney and Bert and Thora Leach went to Page Saturday for its Square dance club graduating class jamboree. In June there will be a Jamboree here with clubs from Utah, Arizona and Nevada in attendance. Lida Owens made a trip to Salt Lake for medical tests. Ronald and Martha Early of Van Nuys, Calif, are here at their Beaver Dam Lodge on Panguitch Lake. D. and Mary Adams and family In Henderson and Mark Sevy and family in Las Vegas. Doyle and wife t took Mrs. Sevy to Lake Hava- su to see the London Bridge which was brought piece by piece from England. Mrs. Sevy also reports that Michael, son of Vincent D. and Nina Beth Harding, will leave for a mission to Alberta, Canada in May. 1 Visiting over the Easter weekend holidays at the James Excell home were Don and Barbara Marshall and four children of Sandy, Evan and Nicki Excell and two girls of Sunnyslde, Bruce and Sue Douglas, baby boy Ty and Indian girl Irene of Blanding. Max and Glcnda Excell and three boys came over from Kingston to Join the family . , members on Sunday. Clarence Davis and Lynn Smith went up to Salt Lake on Monday for physical tests for the Marines. Easter weekend visitors at the LaVerl Davis home were Wesley and Lora Dawn Hall of Salt Lake and DellRoy Davis of Escalante. LaRue and Reed Jensen of Santaquln visited recently at the LaVerl Davis and with A-mella Smith. Bob and Ina Hanks and children of Fairfield, Calif, visited with her parents, the M.V. Hatches. Silas and Nellie Crosby of Phoenix visited over the weekend at the Mayo Riggs home. Mrytle Heywood spent several days in St. George visiting her mother Bertha Bran-ham, sister and family, the Carl Peeds, also her brother and family who were there from Wisconsin. Alva Johnson is home after spending the winter up north and In Colorado. Recent visitors at the home of Bell Cooper were Mr. and Mrs. Grant Cooper of Layton. Visitors this week were Faye Rosenberg and son of Tooele, and Jim Cooper of Circleville. Jim and Torla Boucher of Santee, Calif, are parents of a baby girl born April 3rd, the newcomer has two sisters and a brother. Proud grandparents are tre J.V. Hatches and great grandmother Mary D. Sargent. Pearl Henrie is recuperating from a stroke, she is not able to walk but doctors think she will do so soon.
