Show Hatch Happenings BY REVA LOWDER The Jesse Wilsons have a new grandson born July 31 to Lyle and Marie Davis of Salt Lake. Most of their children have been visiting for several weeks and before returning home they had a party at the summer cottage they have been building at Wilson can yon. Visiting at the Calvin Wilson home Wednesday night was the Clifford Turpin family of Tucson, Arizona. Th Lamond Davis', Roma Wilcock and baby, Laura Jul-ander and baby of Panguitch visited the Gale Wilcocks on Thursday and helped Tanya Christian celebrate her birthday with a dinner. Mr. and Mrs. Wilcock have a new grand son born July 31 to Norman and Alyce Henderson of Kan- Ills two sisters are staying at the Wilcocks a few days. Ills paternal grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Bob Henderson. Sun-dy, the Wilcocks, Tanya and Carrie Christian went to the Cedar City hospital to see the new baby. Jane Greenleaf, Debra and Cindy Duckett accompanied Carol Greenleaf back to Calif. Carol has been visiting the Art Greenleaf s. Michael Evans visited in Ka-nab with the Norman Hendersons and in Orderville with Mary Ann Hep worth. Sunday he and Kerry Sawyer attended Sacrament meeting in Orderville. The Bob Evans visited in Cedar Saturday morning; in the afternoon the Dean Johnsons of Hawthorne, Nevada visited them. Sunday the Ev- ans visited the Irving Johnsons in Cannonville. Visiting the Orson Barn-hursts and Al Wllhelms were Austin Barnhurst and the Mel-vin Barnhursts of Las Vegas, Stevan Robertson of Enoch. The Vern Barneys and daughter of Richfield visited with the Frank Barneys Sunday. Thursday Mrs. Pete Childers and children, Mrs. Jeraldine Lucas and girls and Steven Roberta of Calif, came to visit the Grant Daltons. Also visiting them were the Wayne Stu-bbs of Cedar, the Gilbert Clar- ks of Kanab, Bonnie Bailey of Milford. Sunday, the Clarks took Mrs. Childers and Shelley, Mrs. Lucas and Flora to visit with them in Kanab. Hope and the others met them there and went to Grand Canyon, Pipe Springs and St. George. Missed last week that Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Roundy and the Ned Daltons visited the Daltons. Visitors at the Lynn Evans home were the Clark L. Evans, Jolene Farnsworth of Bryce Canyon, Deloy Evans and Kelly Barnhurst of Las Vegas, the Kay Adams family of Provo. Sunday the Ray Burrows family returned to Sunnyvale, Calif, after visiting here for some "time. Effel Riggs went with them to visit awhile. Pete Alvey of Panguitch visited the Sam Evans, over the weekend. Mrs. Lavernc Blackburn and children visited her mother Abble Fallis Monday and took her back to Orderville to visit with them awhile. Idonna, Roso Elaine and Val Dean Deuel went to Ogdcn on Friday and met LaVor Deuel who came there by Jet and visited a few days with him. The Max Burrows of Fredo-nla and Mrs. Ron Riggs of Panguitch visited the Karl Lowd-ers Saturday. The Robert Palmers of Nevada are visiting the Nile and David Sawyers. Mrs. Jay Mlckclscn and children visited Effel Riggs and the Leland Riggs, Lori stayed to visit the Riggs this week. The Wiley Huntlngtons visited the Allen Huntlngtons in Kanab. The Stanley Hunting-tons of Cedar visited here at the Huntington home. Kenny Mack brought niece Jane Pcrtz of Calif, here to visit Virginia and children for the rest of the summer. Mrs. Kate Workman has been visiting in Cedar City with the Keith Workmans. She is now staying in a Rest home there. The Arnold Sawyers visited in Cedar Saturday. Visitors at the Garth Heaps were Mrs. Milton Asay, Mrs. E. J. Asay of Salt Lake, the Reed Judds of Panguitch, the Don Heaps of Escalantc. Don went on to Provo to attend BYU for Visiting the Oliver Hunting-tons Saturday were the Pat Dlx family of Panguitch. The Huntlngtons received word that their foster son Don Hall and wife Jean of Long Beach, Calif, have a baby girl born July 20. Kelvin Yazzie is here from New Mexico, he will attend PHS and live at the Lamar Barney home. |
