Show Panguitch News ( Isabell and Boyd Ipson took Doyl and Katheryn Ipson and family to Salt Lake City to board a plane for their home in Hawaii after spending six weeks vactioning and visiting In Panguitch. Isabell and Boyd returned Monday. Kay and Ann Richards and family returned to Salt Lake City Saturday after vacationing in Calfornia with Ann's folks, te Alvah Mickelsons, and in Panguitch with Kay's mother Ingra Richards. Ingra accompanied them as far as Spanish Fork to attend Dr. Peterson's funeral, then proceeded to Salt Lake City, returning Sunday night On July 30, Lynn Dickinson who has been visiting his daughter Helen Wright and staying at his cabin at the lake, treated his brothers and sis-terss to a steak supper with all the trimmings, including sour dough biscuits by Vermon Barney with the help of Helen and Flora Wright, Lois Morgan and the Phil Dickinsons. Those attending were the James and the Jack Dickinsons. Mr. and Mrs. Nelphr Wright, Bessie Talbot the Henry Nichols of Van Nuys, Calif.; the Harry J. Gardners,' the Paul Henries and Phyllis Dickinson. Vacationing at the Verd Wor-then home are Bud nd Bernlce Rember and four chldren from Tempe. Arizona. Joining them for a family reunion over the 24th were Mrs. Avis Heldt, the Bob Justlts of Provo, the Jim Worthens and the Robby Top-hems of Parowan, LaMar and Clara Worthen. Etta and Steve of Cedar City, Verd Christen-sen of Pocatello. Mrs. David Hemingway and three children and a friend of Salt Lake visited overnight on Tuesday at the home of her Aunt Erna, the Mayo Riggs. Lola and Jim Adams of Salt Lake spent the weekend at the Riggs home. Alva Johnson had her daughter Carol and husband Mike Hales of Layton visiting with her for a week; Mike's brother Stanley came down from Lay-ton to spend the weekend with them. For the 24th holiday, Alva's sister Ruth and husband Don Fortherlngham came from Orem to visit with her. Visiting with Mrs. Lois Ma-loney through the 24th holidays were the Giles Bolanders of Cedar City, the Verle Lang family of Salt Lake, and Albert Lang of St George. Mr. and Mrs. Ott Hatch of St. George have been visiting his sister, Ida Webb. Vernon and Iletta Reid had all of their family home over the 24th holidays and during the last two weeks In July. Carol Ann Spencer and five children of Salt Lake spent two weeks. Iletta Green and two daughters of Inglewood, Calif, stayed ten days. Gordon and Sherma Reld and three daughters of Richfield, Rosemary and .lay Chrlstensen and two children of Granger spent the weekend. They shared visiting with their sister LaVenda and family, the Kirk Moores. The family members came to sing their mother's original cen-tenhl song, "Beautiful Panguitch." In the Musical Extravag-n; Iletta accompanied them. Gordon and two daughters also presented a song and dance act. Cody Walters and Bill Miller of Fullerton, Calif., friends of Cindy Moore, were weekend guests at the home of her parents, the Kirk Moores. They flew here in Cody's private plane, and he took members of the Moore family and some friends on flights over Panguitch and surrounding areas. Garald and Marlene Lewis and four children have returned to Henderson, Nevada after spending two weeks visiting her mother, Lyle Miller and brother Melvln Mlllen They also visited the Lloyd Stokers at Junction and the Frank Lewis family at Circleville. Mrs. Fenella Sevy is home after spending several weeks in Salt Lake City. Visiting her here were son Blaine D. son George and wife Karen of Pre-scott, son J. Mark Sevy, wife Joyce and daughter Linda and three sons Jim, Kent and Brent, and daughter Mary Adams and four daughters of Henderson. Grandson Bill Sevy and wife Patricia also were visitors. Mike McGuire and family of Fremont, California visited with his folks the Nolan Mc-Gulres for a week and enjoyed the local fishing. Paul and Jolene Partridge's little daughter Tiffany who had been visiting with grandparents the Harold Sevys has returned to her home at Little-town, Colorado, where can help welcome the family's newest addition, a baby sister named Michelle. Mr. and Mrs. Harold Sevy took the four scouts and their leader to catch a plane at Salt Lake City for the Jamboree In Japan, and returned by way of Wyoming. Son Dick and family and daughter Orra Rae Morrison and family, all of Las Vegas, spent the 24th holiday with parents the Wallace McEwens. On the 25th Mrs. McEwen's folks, the Beebes, held a family reunion in Circleville. Present in addition to the McEwens, the Carl Beebes of Circleville and Clyde Beebes of Los Angeles were nieces and nephews from Salt Lake City, Bountiful, San Francisco, Los Angeles Provo and Las Vegas. Luella Helqulst, Curtis Herring and Garth Veater are medical patients In the hospital. Stephanie and Dixie Excell and Denise Burgess had tonsilec-tomles. Charles and Peggy Farmer are spending a month In town. They have their trailer house parked on Vic Orton's trailer court. Visitors it the Roy Talbot home over the 24th weekend were the Kay Bundys and six children of St. George, the Tom Talbots and two children of Washington, the E1H Talts and six children of Vernal, Arthur Talbot came over from Cedar. Roma Wllcock and baby are staying while Hal is In Germany with the armed forces. Kenneth and Virginia Hoe-gch and three children of Hen-aersou were here visiting with the Otto Sandlns and the Roy Talbots. |
