Show LITERARY CLUB MEETING The Pangultch Literary Club met In the City Room at 3:00 in the afternoon on Monday, November 19, with President Myra Miller conducting. Prayer Opal Hatch. Song, "There Is beauty all around" was sung by the members accompanied by Ruth Henrie. The Pledge to the Flag was led by Bessie Talbot and creed, "Kitchen Prayer" given by Laretta Yardley, A birthday tribute was given Dora Clove. October meeting minutes were read by Grace Owens. The Thanksgiving program was under direction of hostesses Hilda Cameron Faye Lynn and Susa Walker: Reading, Hilda Cameron: Songs, "The First Thanksgiving" and "Thanksgiving Morning", Bell Cooper, Leatha Moore, Dora Clove, Myrtle Haycock, Florence McEwen and Celeste Talbot accompanied by Ruth Henrie; Story "The Massacre, Faye Lynne ; Piano Solo "The Waltz In E flat", Mvra Miller; Read-ng-"Thankful For"- Leatha Mo- ore; "I'm On a Diet", Ruby Myers; "Count Your Blessings", Lula Dickinson ; Song Thanks be to God", Verda Tebbs; Refreshments were served to 25 members and 2 guests. A lovely time being enjoyed by everyone present. |
