Show NOTICE TO WATER USERS Notice Is hereby given that the Board of Water Resources, 435 State Capitol, Salt Lake City, Utah has filed a request for extension of time from the State Engineer to make and submit proof of appropriation for Appl. No. 16519 (97-45) covering 23,279 ac. ft. of water from Boulder Creek, Escalante River, Sand Creek, and Death Hollow, tributaries to Colorado River in Garfield County, Utah for Irrigation and Incidental domestic, stock-watering and municipal purposes. It is represented that a study Is being made to determine water supply, requirements of local water users and rehabilitation of watershed; therefore additional time is needed to complete the project and make and submit proof of appropriation. Protests resisting the granting of said request with reasons therefor must be filed in duplicate with the State Engineer, 442 State Capitol, Salt Lake City, Utah 84114 on or before March 10, 1973. A hearing will be held on this request before the State Engineer at 11:30 A.M., Tuesday, March 13, 1973 in the Garfield County Courthouse, Panguitch, Utah. Protestants should appear at the hearing.
