Show Regional Youth Conference To Be Held At Cedar City This Weekend The Cedar City Regional Youth Coference will be held at the College of Southern Utah Nov. 16 and 17. The youth from the ages of 14 through 19 in the Cedar, Cedar West, Parowan, Beaver and Panguitch Stakes of the LDS Church arc invited and encouraged to participate in this outstanding conference. Theme of the conference is "Fore Forever." Noted LDS church leaders and outstanding athletic personalities as well as special entertainers to perform for the youth, will be there. The citizens of the Cedar City community are opening their homes to the youths who live outside of the Cedar City area Registration will take place In the CSU auditorium and It will begin at 8 a m. All meals will be provided by the CSU catering service A registration fee of $5.00 Is required to cover 11 meals and the dance on Saturday night. Conference highlights will be Mootenanny and Variety Show, Youth forums, Fashion show. Concert. Dance and climaxed by a testimony meeting Sundav morning. As part of the special entertainment the nationally noted "Four of a Kind" will be here In person to perform. The "Four of a Kind" have the honor of being members of the Mormon tabernacle choir and have appeared on national TV on ABC network, have entertained in conventions in Texas. Mali. Idaho and California, appeared in Concert at the Valley Music Hall, entertained at Ijigoon, Terrace ballroom, and Park City They have been sii;ned by the State Department to entertain our troops overseas In 1969. and have now started recording for a major recording studio. All four, Neil Maxfield. Richard Torgensen. Ed Bales, and John Jackman, ore returned missionaries and are presently enrolled at the 1' of U. Guest speakers at the Youth conference are as follows: Elder J. Howard Dunn, regional representative for the Quorum of Twelve for Cedar region Elder Dick Nemelka, who is an all American athlete and has filled a full-time mission in lieu of a professional basketball contract Elder J. Elliott Cameron, regional representative of the Quorum of the Twelve for Provo region Elder Rulon Stanfield. member of the YUM C neral Board.
