Show TROPIC TOPICS By EUa Adair Mr. and Mrs. Malen Mech-am attended a golden wedding anniversary party for her sister and husband at Salt Lake last week. Following a session in the Sslt Lake temple, a group of 19 enjoyed dinner at a cafe. The Mechams had Jerry and Bonnie Mecham and sons of Bicknell as weekend visitors. Ferrell Brinkerhoff was home for the weekend. The teachers who were not IU with the flu attended a workshop in Cedar City last Friday. The schools were clos ed the past week for the flu epidemic, several persons are still ill with it. Gary Don Mecham went to Salt Lake for medical care this week. Jane Sudweeks had her grandchildren, Larene Pratt of Escalante and Mac Sud- weeks of Richfield, as visitors this week. We had a good heavy snowstorm over the weekend. Arvilla Shakespear took Sara Shakespear to Springvillc to stay with her daughters for the winter. We received word from our son Larry that he will have an additional ten weeks schooling at Keesler AFB In Biloxi, Miss L. Dee and Christie Ann Shakespear, Charley and Sandra Francisco, Earl and Evelyn Jolley, Kerry Nelson, Shar-ron Willden had birthdays. Due to the schools being closed last week, the FHAMln strel Show will be held Saturday night, Feb. 3rd. Marcia Cope is visiting her children in Calif. Sonia Shakespear and Lynn Jolley were in Cedar City for the weekend. Evadean Francisco and daughters spent two days in Salt Lake last week. The Gillette family hss moved to Salt Lake.
