Show Beryl Rhoana Workman Sawyer To Be Buried At Hatch On Saturday Beryl Rhoana Workman Sawyer, 70, died of natural causes Jan. 30 at the Panguitch LDS Hospital. She was born Oct. 12, 1897 at Panguitch, a daughter of George Albert Sr. and Rhoana Clark Workman. On May 2, 1915 she married Thomas Hatch Sawyer at Hatch; later solemnized at the St. George temple. Mrs. Sawyer was active in the church and community. She was the D.U.P. president of the Hatch Camp and was instrumental in organizing the Hatch D.U.P. Museum. Active in Primary work for over 30 years, she was twice a Primary president. She was a visiting teacher In the Relief Society for 45 years, and was a Sun-day School teacher until her recent illness forced her to retire. She loved and was loved by all the little children; they all called her Grandma or Aunt Beryl. She was the mother of 11 children, 10 of whom are living. Cedar City; Clifton, Ogden; Mrs. Melvin (Naomi) Miller, Oklahoma CI ty, Okla.; Mrs. Robert (Clara) Palmer, Henderson. Nevada; 33 grandchildren: 17 great grandchildren ; brothers, sisters: George A Workman Jr., Hatch; Mrs. Thomas (Rea) Dodds, Mrs. Lyman (Lula) Davis. Panguitch; Mrs. Weltha Talt, Spring City; Mrs. Andrew (Iris) Corry, Cedar Oity; L. Doyle Workman, Sunset; stM) mother. Mrs Beatrice Workman, Glendale. Funeral services will be held Saturday, Feb. 3, at 1 p.m. in the Hatch ward chapel. Viewing will be at the familv hom from 10 am. until time for service.
