Show Panguitch News The DUP Loyhova Camp will have their Christmas party at the home of Opal Berrett Dec. 17 at 3 p.m. There will be an exchange of gifts, not to exceed $1.00. Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Henrie, with their daughter Sally and grandson Bryan Heat-on, spent Thanksgiving week with daughter Bernice and Don Miller and family in Riverside, Calif. They visited with the Bill Edgingtons and Marian Jones in Cypress, and also spent a day in Mexico. Jim and Hannah Goulding and three children of Cedar City visited over the weekend with his sister Aurelia Adair and children and at Tropic with her folks, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Wintch. Barbara Jean, daughter of the Clark Frandsens. has won a three day all expense paid trip to Disney Land for herself and her family She entered a contest 'or a bottling company and was one of the winners. The South ward Cub Scouts will hold their Christmas par ty and Pack meet combined at the Seminary building Wednesday, Dec 16. The parents are urged to participate in the Cubs activities. The Scouts still have a few Christmas candles for sale; if you would like one, contact Aurelia Adair, 676 2351 Karl and Myrtle Heywood spent the Thanksgiving holiday, Wednesday to Friday, at St. George with her mother. Mrs. Fcnella Sevy left last week for a checkup with her doctor at Salt lake and is staying with her daughter Nina Harding and family. Mrs. Ida Webb is home aft- ' er spending six weeks up north. She went up to b- with her daughter Louise Whitlock of Dragerton who had major surgery in a Salt Ijike hospi tal. After Louise came home she developed blood clots in her leg and had to have further medical care at Price. JoAnn Talbot, waitress at Frost Top during the summer, so impressed a group of tourists from Hawaii with her pleasant brisk efficiency that they sent her a bright red "Anthur-ium" plant for Thanksgiving. |
