Show Tropic Topics BY ELLA ADAIR Several relatives and friends of Mayo "Spike" Bybee attended his funeral services in Las Vegas on Tuesday. Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Rose and Jeff Long were welcomed as Tropic ward members Sunday. In Sacrament meeting Trevor Lane, son of the Max Stewarts, and Gale Leland, son of the Leland Deuels, received their names. Sherrie Ann Sevy, Margie Lynch, Richard Barton and Quinton Me-cham were confirmed members of the church Saturday. Cliff Barton was home from his job in Las Vegas for the weekend. Several college students were home for the weekend. Ferriland Ruesch was in Las Vegas visiting the Dave Mum-fords and her new granddaughter. Deanna Dixon visited her parents for the weekend. Judean Carter left Sunday to be with her husband at Ft. Ord, Calif. (continued inside) Tropic Topics (continued from front page) Phyllis Stewart hd her parents, brother and sister from Price, and her grandparents, the LaVar Munsons, Sunday. Ferrell Brinkerhoff, friend Heidi and brother spent the weekend at the Eldon Brink erhoffs. Amplus LeFevre has been in Cedar City since this past week staying with her daughter Gaya and family. Gaya is recovering at home after undergoing surgery. The Malen, Stanley, Lowell, and Jerry Mechams had a 2nd Thanksgiving dinner in Oak City with Angeline's sister and family. The Stake budget dinner will be held here Saturday. A special musical program has been prepared. Blanche Richards, Gery By-bee and Dixie Shakespear had birthdays this week. |
