Show PANGUITCH Ingra Richards, Alice Ipson and Jimmy Richards spent the weekend at Salt Lake; Ingra and Jimmy stayed at the Kay Richards home and Alice visited Reta Mae Lincoln and family. At theReglon VII track meet at Richfield Bob Yardley won the mile race in track and Ken Orton took 3rd place in high hurdles. Both will go to Salt Lake Saturday to compete in the state meet. Vee and Rama Bruhn visited in St. George Saturday with Vee's folks, Fred and Eleanor Bruhn. Mr. and Mrs. Tom Talbot and two children of Ogden were weekend visitors at the Roy Talbot home. Mr. and Mrs. Afton Julander spent the weekend at Salt Lake. They visited Paul Julander in the LDS Hospital, he is still in the intensive care ward but is feeling much better. Other local patients in the LDS Hospital are Mrs. Frank Houston who is improving, and Dr. Sims Duggins. Medical patients in the local hospital are Ivah Cline, BeU Judd and Linda Curley. Bruce and Ramona Howard visited in Huntington Sunday with Ramona's mother, Mrs. B. W. Staker. Jim, Sherlene and Michael Osterud came from Tooele to spend Mother's Day with her parents, Horace and Ruby Myers, and wish Dad a happy birthday. Iouis and Barbara Tebbs and son Jeffery visited several days last week with his parents, the D. A. I'ebbs, then all went to Salt Lake to visit Barbara's sister, Mike and Janice Gottfredson, Veda and Glen Hale and the Kent Millers; a family get together was held at the Gottfredson home before seeing Louis off Saturday for San Antonio for a school in electronic communications. Ray and Verda Tebbs made a trip to Salt Lake over Friday and Saturday and went on to Ogden to visit son Mike and family Clara Worthen returned home Sunday after receiving medical care in the Cedar City hospital for a week. Weekend visitors at the LaMar Worthen home were Daymon and Etta Stephens of Las Vegas. Marvin and Maureen Skougard and 3 children of Las Vegas had visited here the week before. Mike and Elaine Miller came from Logan to spend Mother's Dav with their mothers (and fathers), the LeGrande Farns-worths and the Bern Millers. David and Darlene Marshall and two children of Kanab visited Monday with her parents, the Randolph Frandsens. Thirza and William Proctor attended the performance of "Fiddler on the Roof" at the campus-community theatre in Cedar City on Friday, which they greatly enjoyed. |
