Show PANGUITCH Mrs. Emma D. Houston of Kanab visited st the home of Mrs. Elizabeth Orion on Sunday Last weekend Iige Moore was taking seven horses to Wahweap and the animals moving around in the truck caused it to wreck Just outside of Kanab. Three horses were killed and the track demolished. Uge escaped without injuries and got a ride to Kanab from where he called his brother Kirk to come get him. Medical patients in the hospital are Micky Nelson and Wade Perkins. Frank Houston was in for a couple days for medical care. Lyle Miller was also in the hospital for medical care, keeping her fingers crossed that she wouldn't have to undergo surgery, then we heard that her husband Bern, accompanied by Edra Miller, took her to a hospital In Las Vegas. Blaine and Sandra Silllman are parents of a baby girl born November 10th. Dr. Dugglns Is still in the LDS Hospital st Salt Lake City, his condition is about the same. Rudolph and Kate Church have moved to Salt Lake for the winter. Peggy Farmer had several women In for a quilting last week. The Grant Tebbs have moved back up to Vernal. Jim and Hilma Excell and son Greg made a weekend trip up north. They visited son Max in the Holy Cross Hospital at Salt Lake City. The doctor plans to put Max's leg in a cast the day before Thanksgiving so Max can go home and join his family on Thanksgiving Day. He is in Room 315 in the hospital and wants everyone to know that he really appreciates the cards, letters and visits. They also stopped off st the hospital in Price to see their new granddaughter, Jo-di Rae, born Nov. 14 to Evan and Nlcki Excell; this makes grandchild no. IS for Jim and Hilma. Mrs. Jessie Cherrington is spending the winter in Kanab with her daughter and family; she came up to visit for a few days with her sister and brother-in-law, Mae and Houston Hatch. Mr. and Mrs. John Thompson are spending some time at Kamas with son Hasten snd family. We had quite a mow storm for the weekend snd there is still a couple inches on the ground; Brian Head was reported to have had 38 inches of new snow with this past snow storm. Leonard Wllcock Is back home sporting a "turtle neck" gadget after spending ten days in the Holy Cross Hospital at Salt Lake City where he |
