Show PANGUITCH Mrs John Thompson went to Richfield to attend graduation of three of her Sudweeks grandsons: Mac from Trade Tec, Floris from high school, and Donald from Jr. high. The Thompsons had daughter Irean from Salt Lake home for the Memorial Day weekend. She and her mother went to Escalante and visited many friends while at the cemetery. Inez Sevy is home after visiting for two months with her family members In the Salt Lake area. The Jack Cameron family of Granger were guests of his grandparents, the J. T. Talbots over the Memorial weekend. They visited other friends and relatives while here and spent a day at Bryce Canyon. Also the Kenneth Cameron family of Magna stayed overnight with his grandparents and left Saturday for Grand Canyon. Charlie and Maydean Jones of Riverton, Wyo called on her aunt and uncle, the J. T. Talbots, last week. They had been to Mexico to visit Mrs. Jones' sister. Visitors for the Memorial weekend and following week at the LaVeri Davis home were their children Wesley and Lo-ra Dawn Hall and Dell Roy and Glena Davis. They came down for the first week of the fishing, they didn't do much the first day but got their limits the rest of the time. Mr. and Mrs. Gary Webb and four girls of McGUl. Nevada were weekend visitors with his mother, Mrs. Ida Webb. Dean and Joan Lau of Grand Island, Nebraska are parents of a baby girl born on June 8th, the new baby has a brother and slater. The proud grandparents are Mr. and Mrs Mayo Riggs. Howd Veater received word that his son Clair was in a hospital after being Injured while at work aa a motorcycle patrol man In California. Stanley A. Tebbs and family of Clearfield were weekend visitors with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Stanley D. Tebbs; visiting with them this week are Don and Janet Adams and children of Kayavllle. Mr. and Mrs. Mayo Riggs made a weekend trip to Orem to visit George and Kay Cher-rington and family. George is home from the hospital recuperating from surgery. Joining them at the Cherringtons were Berthann Riggs of Salt Lake and John Riggs of Provo. The Don Caldwells of Salt Lake brought her mother, Mrs. E. T. LeFevre down, then she returned here with her daughter Erna and Mayo to visit for a week. Visiting here Monday with Mrs. LeFevre were her brother Grover Shakespear and wife of St. George and his daughter Mrs. Lester Blake of Cedar City. Visiting over Memorial week end at the Blaine E. Sevy home were their son George and family of Phoenix, also Jo dy the oldest son of George and wife and Leslie who Just returned from Vietnam after serving his time. The oldest son of George la serving in the PhilLipines, and the youngest son Is in North Carolina serving the LDS Church on a mission. Dean Nolan and Evalynn came from Cedar City for the day. Doyle, Edyth and son Tom were here for two nights. Tom and Carvel Hatch will go to old Mexico for a two weeks class tour with their Spanish class, leaving Las Vegas this week. Mr. and Mrs. J. Mark Sevy and son of Las Vegas spent a night with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Blaine E. Sevy, on their way to Provo to get their daughter Linda who finished three-year college at BYU. The Sevys received word that their grandson E. Blaine Sevy of Phoenix is attending an LDS servicemen's conference at Tokyo. |
