Show Henrieville News Items MEI.BA D SMITH Mrs. David Asay and family are visiting at the Ellis John son home while David is In New York for special schooling Dennis Johnson and Judy Broderick of Salt Lake were weekend visitors here with his parents and friends Lawrence and Sade Rose of Parowan and Richard. Betty and Tammy Brown of Oklaho ma City visited friends and relatives in town on Sunday. The Dave Roses went to St George Thursday and brought Artoise and CoUette home for the summer from college They will work at Bryce for the summer. Bunny Goulding and girl friend Lee of Callente, Nevada spent two days last week with her mother Jan Goulding Mrs. Peggy Buckalew and Mrs. Ruth Shakespear visited Jan on Sunday. Thorley and Virginia John son and family spent Thursday and Friday In Bountiful and Salt Lake City They visited their daughter Diana and other relatives. Thorley kept an appointment at the Veterans hospital. Louis and Sheron Izatt of Murray and Kay and Laura Clark of Glen Canyon visited with Eugen and LaKay Quilter and family. Ladora Baugh came down on Sunday to attend Sacrament meeting with her mother Shan na Goulding. Shanna left Sunday for Cedar City where she will attend summer school at CSU. Joyce Partner and Lee Sor-enson were visitors at the Harry Partner home. They both graduated from Dixie College on June 7th with Associate of Science degrees. Mr. and Mrs Harry Partner and girls went to St. George Saturday for the Graduation exercises Speakers in Sacrament meeting were Jack Chynoweth of Tropic and President I, Clyde Spencer of Escalante Mrs Spencer accompanied her husband here. Evon Rose visited her parents, the Irving Roses, she will work at Ogden this summer Saturday Irving and Viola Rose and Roxle Chynoweth joined with other relatives to go to St. George where Bruce and Kristene Rose had their temple work done Those having birthdays the past two weeks were Shanna Goulding. Arvella and Harry Johnson and Dennis Shakes-pear Those having anniversaries were Eugene and I nKa Quilter, Thorley and Virginia Johnson. Nephi and Shanna Goulding. and Kenneth and Bcrnlce Goulding. Mr. and Mrs. Woodrow Smith of Murray visited Sunday with his brother Jim and Rae Smith and familv. and with Marion Willis. Kenny Shakespear of St George is visiting his grandparents, the Layton Smiths, and the E. R. Shakespears of Tropic. Stake Guide Patrol Day Camp was held at Red Canyon Monday under the direction of Stake Scout leader Thora Partner. She took Jimmie and Eddie Smith to help her on the program. Marjorie Ford and Mary El izabeth went to Panguitch last Thursday with Jan Goulding The Glen Morton family of St George visited at the Her-schel Partners. The Paul Mangum family of Beaver visited at the Elmo Bushnell home. |
