Visiting at the Bob Evans home last week were the Dean Johnsons of Hawthorne, Nov., who also visited in Cannonville, and the Guy Evans of Pleasant Grove, and the Irvin Johnsons of Cannonville. The MIA held a Hallowe'en party and dance Tuesday evening in the Ward Hall which was decorated with Spooks etc. All members came costumed. Refreshments wers served. Thursday afternoon the Primary held a Halloween dance for the children who came in costumes. Popcorn balls were served. A sage hen dinner was served at the Bryce Cafe. Those present were Mr. and Mrs. C. P. Tedford Mr. and Mrs. Jim Butler, of Calif., Lloyd Ohran and Floyd Privett of American Fork. From here were Mr. and Mrs. Dick Harrison, Mr. and Mrs. Howard Prince and Ada Diffenbaugh. Mervin Barnhurst made a trip to Salt Lake and Fort Douglas the first part of last week. The Max Burrows family of ' Fredonia visited in town Sunday. Mrs. Leland Riggs and Sam visited in Tropic Thursday. Other Tropic visitors were Mrs. Layton Barney on Wednesday, Mrs. Orson Barnhurst and Sarah Porter on Thursday and Shannon Dalton and Ralph Wilcock who visited the John Mechams. Mrs. Grant Dalton visited at Henrieville Thursday. Visiting the Grant Daltons was Gib Clark of Cedar City. Weekend visitors in town were Cal Burrows and Delten Campbell of Fredonia, Carol Davis of Cannonville, Ralph and Duard Riggs and Richard Wilson of Cedar City. Visiting at the Ivor Riggs were Hope and Golda Jean Truman of Panguitch. Ivor Riggs was a business visitor at Cedar City on Friday. Brad Accompanied him. Cedar City visitors Friday were May, Kent and Beryl Sawyer; Reva and Rell Lowder and Velma Huntington, Noreen and Deloy Evans, Gwen Crofts and son of Panguitch and Ses-sie Clark of Orderville accompanied Mrs. Evans, to Cedar. Saturday Cedar visitors included the Max Heneys. Calvin and Curtis Wilson, Jean Huntington, Jo and Valeen Sawyer. The Pat Dix family and the lamond Davis family visited relatives here during the week. Word was received by D. H. Evans that his daughter, Dee Roundy of Las Vegas, who had undergone major surgery at the L-D.S. Hospital in Salt Lake City was now recuperating at the home of son Spregg. Melvin Barnhurst flew his plane out from Las Vegas to visit his son Dennis and his parents the O. H. Barnhursts Sunday and Monday. |
