Jed Garneal and family with the Lee Smiths, Alta Rae McAllister and Flora Liebenguth at their mothers, Nellie Smith, Reed Gouldings had daughter Janet from B.Y.U. and the Weston Shakespears from Salt Lake. The water company has been holding meetings to try and get money to purchase some new pipe so we wont have trouble with our line again this winter. Mr. and Mrs. Elmo Bushnell made a trip to Kanab. Dewey Willis, Elmo Bushnell and Harry Partner each took a load of boys and girls down to the Temple on Saturday. Roycc Griffin baptised Terry Barker, Janis Rose and Dick Goulding in Tropic on Saturday We are glad to have Inez Smith home again. She made her mission report in two meetings held in Escalante on Sunday. Marjorie Fork has had the rest of her belongings moved to Panguitch where she plans on buying a home in the future. Virginia Smith has purchased her lot from her. Reports are that Heber Me-cham of Delta is in very poor health, he had another heart attack not long ago and has to be helped around. Haven't heard any more about Mary Hall so we hope that she is out of danger. The Asays of Cedar City are making a stop here each week to pick up shoes for repair work, dry cleaning and anything you would like upholstered, they really do excellent work. |
