Show KSCALANTE CHIT CILVI FAY ALVEY - The bright colored leaves and the chill wind reminds one that winter is coming whether we are ready or not, and mostly we are not. The calves being weaned disturb the peace night and day but nothing is ever done about that, just the kids who drag Main and honk their horns or soap someone's windows on Halloween. We got that holiday over without any major crimes. Some of the High School girls got called into the office for conduct at the dance unbecoming a lady, and someone's gate got hoisted to the flag pole. Both schools and the South Ward MIA and Relief Society held parties. The Spook alley at the Elementary school chilled the blood of even the stouthearted. At the Relief Society party everyone was finally identified except a shapely girl in a navy blue suit and high heels. Someone suggested it might be a man but that idea was dismissed on account of the smooth shapely legs, but it turned out to be our own Bishop Morris shirts. He would not go to the Doctor for fear he would tell him he was injured. McKinley Morrel is here buying cattle and trucking them out.
