Show TROPIC TOPICS ELLA ADA1K Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Richards took their granddaughter and her friend to Cedar City, after visiting here for a week. Sonia Shakcspear spent the weekend in Cedar City with the Kenneth Adairs. The Bert Emmett family of St. George spent the weekend with the Wallace Otts. Mr. Ott was re-elected to serve as our representative on the Garkane power board. Having birthdays last week were Gary and Louise Ott, April Clarke, Valerie and Shar-ron Kay Wintch, Royal and Kerry Alvey. Viola Marshall has moved to Kanab for a while. Lydia Pollock is home after visiting in Salt Lake City. Cecy Pollock has been a patient in the Panguitch hospital this past week. Mr. and Mrs. Leslie LeFevre and Dorma Barton were inSalt Lake for Conference. The Gall Miles, family of Cedar City and Judy Leavitt of Las Vegas were weekend visitors at the Arnold Adair home. Spending Easter away were the Ursel Otts with their daughters in Ogden and Spanish Fork; the Kerry Nelsons were in Ferron; Peggy Ruesch and Deanna Chynoweth with the Orlan Ruesch's in Tucson, Ariz. Easter visitors here were Edith Bybee and family at Ella Bybee's; the Lane Chynoweth family at the Sherman Baugh home; the Bart Palmers at the Afton Pollocks; the Henry Jol-leys with the Earl Jolleys. Hope Wintch is home from her trip to Washington. Elizabeth Barton attended conference in Salt Lake with her daughter Floriene and husband. Paul Mangum was home for a few days this week. Dennis Wintch had a boy friend from college here for the weekend. Leon Milner and family vis- ited tho A. H. Smiths recently. The Better Homes Club met last week. Hostesses were Nell Wilson, Truie Allen and Ver-delta Nielson. The Daughters of the Pioneers have been re-organized In Tropic. Agnes Littlefield is the new president. Anyone interested in joining is welcome to attend the meetings, the 2nd Thursday in each month. Some Boy Scout leaders and scoutmaster Mr. Beard attended a weekend leadership camp' st Lake Powell. Karmen Sudweeks had her parents as visitors last week. Cloyd Sudweeks and family spent last week with Ada Sudweeks. |
