Show 4-H CLUB NEWS We are starting a new 4-H group. Our teacher Is Mrs. Ma-rjorie Crofts. There are four members. Darlene Dalley is president, Velta Dean Hughes is vice pres. and song leader, Mary Elizabeth Ford is secretary. We are learning how to cook. Our first meeting was held April 22. Reporter, Maria Anderson The Nine Diners We held our 5th meeting at the home of Denise Jones. We made potato egg scramble, salad and hot biscuits. Everyone enjoyed singing 4-H songs to Mrs. Joes's organ accompaniment. Our 6th meeting was held April 27 at the David Sawyer home in Hatch with Mary Beth Lowder as hostess. We made tomato cheese rarebit on toast, salad and apple cheese crisp. We also worked on our recipe files. Reporter Phyllis Dickinson (continued on back page) THE UNDECIDEABLES We held our 8th meeting on April 9th at Karen Henrle's house. We had a party, we cooked short cake and a banana milk shake. We also had a lesson on clean up as you go. We held our 9th meeting at Mrs. Yardley's home. We cook- ed breakfast foods. We also had talks and demonstrations. Reporter Tamera Veater FEMININE EIGHT VVc held our 2nd meeting at Mrs. Duggins. Mrs. Dugglns and Mrs. Alien showed us how to thread a sewing machine. We learned how to sWy stitch. . Reporter Catherine Jensen Ten Tantalizing Tasters We held our 2nd meeting on April 9th. Our bpoks have not arrived so we niade muffins and biscuits, they 7 were excellent. Shelley Griffin THE NO NAME On April 14 at Mrs. Douglas Jensen's home a 4-H group was organized. President Ka-thy Allen, vice president Mary Susan Foy, secretary Jol-ene Sevy, caller upper Connie Yardley, leaders Nida Mae Jenseq and Florence Parker. We discussed our sewing program and how. to improve our grooming. We decided to meet individually with Mrs. Parker to work on our projects. Reporter Diane Jensen |
