Show McCLELLAN SERVICES HELD IN TROPIC Funeral services were held April 24th in' the Tropic ward chapel for Thomas Edward Mc-Clellan of Salt Lake. Organ prelude and I postlude, Flora LeFevre; son J, "O My Father" choir; invocation, Bishop' Clive F. Bybee; talk, C. Angos Baldwin; song, " Have Heard of the Beautlfur.City" Malen and Viva Mecham, Thelma Jolley; talk, Malen Mecham; remarks, Lester Clarke; song, "We Will Meet Beyond the River", choir; benediction, Alton Shakespear. The grave was dedicated by Vernal Shakespear; burial was in the Tropic Cemetery. . A former resident of Tropic, Mr. McClellan died at his home of a heart attack April 20. He was born July, 10, 1891 in Panguitch to Thomas and Sara Ann Batty McClellan. He married Iva Ssith Sept. 1, 1915 in the St. George Temple; she died March 25, 1938. He was a retired Civil Service worker. Survivors: widow; 7 sons and daughters, 26 grandchildren, one brother, two sisters. |
