Show Funeral Services Held At Panguitch On April 24th For Elsie K. Proctor Funeral services for Elsie K. Proctor, 55, were held in the Panguitch North ward chapel April 24th. The prayer in the home was by Orsen Worthen. Prelude and postlude music, Irene McEwen and Nina H. Steele; song, " Oh My Father", choir; prayer, James L. Hatch; song, "Abide With Me", Roberta Stpwell and Sandra Crofts; talk, A. L. Elmer; reading Of Mother, Mamie Talbot; song "Beyond The Sunset", Dick Ex-cell and Hilma Excell; talk, Vee Worthen; remarks, Bishop D. Kern Owens; song, "That Wonderful Mother Of Mine", Robert Owens; prayer, Arlyn Proctor. The grave was dedicated by Kenneth Proctor; burial was in the Panguitch cemetery under direction of Neal S. Magleby and Sons Mortuary. Mrs. Proctor died April 22 in the Panguitch hospital of a stroke. She was born April . 20, 1910 to David Samuel and Nancy Matilda Talbot Kocher-hans. She married William B. Proctor June 22, 1931 in Panguitch; the marriage was later solemnized in the St. George Temple. Mrs. Proctor was active in the LDS Church, she served as Sunday School and Primary teacher and MIA secretary; she was a 4-1 1 leader. Survivors: husband, mother, both of Panguitch; adopted sons, daughters: Cecil Don Worthen, Magna; Orson and Grant, Worthen, Tooele; Mrs. Dale (Shirley) Morrill, Marys-vale; Dorthi, Panguitch; 20 grandchildren. |
