Show Hatch REVA LOWDER Dee Clifton, infant son of Duard and Donna Riggs, was given his name and blessing by his father Sunday in Testimony meeting. Karl Lpwder is confined to the Panguitch hospital with infection in his leg; nearly all of Hatch has phoned and wished him a speedy recovery. The Dick Harrisons are in town after spending the win- ter in St. George, to get their place ready for tourists. Delia Bybee of Kanab and Nellie Mecham of Tropic visited at the Oliver Huntingtons last Wednesday. Saturday, the John Mechams visited at the Gale Wilcocks. Mrs. Bob Evans left Tuesday for' Kearns with her parents, the Irving Johnsons, of Can-nonville to visit her sister and family there for a week. Mrs. Lynn Evans took her mother, Mrs. Sessie Clark, to her home in Orderville Monday, Mrs. Sarah Porter accompanied her. Cedar City visitors Thursday were Reva, Karleta and La-retta Lowder, May and Kent Swyer, Idonna Deuel, and Oliver Huntington. Mrs. Vard Heaton of Alton visited in town Wednesday. The Gene Wilsons of Cedar visited in town Saturday. Weekend visitors in town included Grant Dalton and the Gib Clarks of Kanab at the Dal tons; the John Riggs family of Lafyton, the Duard Riggs family, the Ralph Riggs, Richard Wilson, Jess Lowder, Homer Dutton, Carolyn and Linda Neilson, all of Cedar City. Sunday visitors with the Dal-tons were the" Keith Roberts of Kanab. The Merlin Barnhursts of Nevada spent the weekend at the O. H. Barnhursts. The Ronald Sawyers of Coder spent Friday and Saturday with their folks. . Mr. and Mrs. Orlas Riggs visited in Salt Lake during the week. Saturday visitors at the George Workman home were Toni Hansen and Deniece Tate of Spring City. Paul Wilson attended funeral services at Vernal for his brother Seth Wilson. Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Evans received word from their son De-loy that he is now laboring in North Caroline and enjoying his mission very much. The daily paper there had an article in it telling about Deloy and his new companion, complimenting them on their devotion to their mission. The LaMar Barneys spent a recent weekend in Springville with the Sherman Camerons. Earl Sawyer was a business visitor in Arizona during the week. Thursday, Earl and Le-ora visited in Cedar. Saturday, Earl and Bobby Sawyer, Stanton and Jerry Sawyer spent the day at Lake Powell Boating and fishing. Mr. and Mrs Wiley Huntington attended Sacrament meeting in Orderville Sunday as their new grandson Weston J Infant son of Allen and Rose Huntington, was given a bless-, ing by his father. Osmyn Deuel is home with his family for awhile until Max Burrows can get more material for his new home. The Everett Thompsons of Calif, visited Mrs. Sarah Porter and family on Friday. The T. H. and the Nile Saw-, yers spent Sunday in Hurricane with Mrs. Rosie Clove. |
