Show Erin G6 Braugh - A Wearin' O The Green And All That Irish Theme Greets Lady Lions At March Meeting March 8 was the regular meeting of the Lady Lions, held at the Flying M Cafe. The pledge of allegiance was led by Lioness Beverly Crosby, Creed by Lioness Florence Parker. Group singing, "My Wild Irish Rose" and "When Irish Eyes Are Smiling", led by president Fay Worthen, accompa nied by Lioness Wilma LeFevre. Irish favors and a spring floral bouquet were very impressive as you entered the room. Club business matters were presented to the club. Set of twin tubs were donated to the club by Lioness Dolly Henrie for the concession at the race track. It was brought before the club and voted from the floor to buy a portable hair dryer to present to. the Pan-guitch LDS Hospital. Lenorc Heaton was welcomed into the club as a new member. Tho following program was enjoyed by 17 members and 4 guests: Merna Clements sang "Danny Boy" and "Tonight"; Mr. Lowell West of Panguitch High School faculty talked on the past and present conditions pertaining to Viet-Nam and now the United States became involved. Hostesses. were Hilda Gardner, Dolly Henrie, and Marie McCarney. |
