Show Missing Boy Found After Night Lost In Wilds Randy Pratt, 6, son of the Kenny Pratts of Kanab, found himself for Sheriff George Mlddleton after straying from a family camping party and being missing overnight in the Boulder mountain country. Sheriff Middleton and 17 Jeep possemen went over to Boulder about 2:00 A.M. Thursday to join searchers from Boulder and Escalante who had been combing the hills since the boy was reported missing about 3:30 P.M. Wednesday. After a brief look over the area the Sheriff decided to return to the nearby power plant to phone for bloodhounds. As he was traveling along the road between the abandoned Haws ranch buildings and the power plant he neared a cattle gate, across the road, a helpful little fellow Jumped out of the bushes to open the gate for him it was the missing boy. Unable to find hlf party, the strayed boy found a road about six miles from the camp and slept beside it. |
