Show Gasoline Tax Refund Blanks Now Available, Says Agent COUNTY AGENTS NOTES By Harold iJndsay , Time has rolled around ag ain to apply for your Federal Gasoline refund for gasoline used for agriculture use off the highway. Those of you who applied for a refund last year will bo sent blanks. Those who need blanks may obtain one at our office. : We had our first outbreak of Blue Tongue disease In sheep in the county. The water situation is better in the Eastern part of tho county than in the west ern part. Sure seemed good to see the Escalante Reservoir nearly 23 full of water this time of year and a good stream coming off the mountain. Now is a good time to give your lawns a feeding of nitrogen to revive them where you have plenty of water to water them. For those aphlds on your plants use Malathlon. If the leaf hoppers are still working you can use DDT on those plants you won't be eating the tops. Use rotenone dust on the edible ones. |
