Show NATIONAL FOREST TIM-BElt FOit SALE "Sealed bids will be received by the Forest Supervisor, or his authorized representative, In the office of the Forest Supervisor, Cedar City, Utah, up to and not later than 10:00 Monday, May 0, 1060, for all live and recently dead isofcnd sapwood) and older dead (unsound sap wood) timber marked or designated for culling on an area of approximately 220 acres In the Panguitch Creek Drainage, Township 30 South, Itange 7 West, Salt Lake Base Meridian, Dixie National Forest, estimated to contain live and recently dead (sound sapwood) saw-timber as follows: 210 M ft. b.m. of Pondcrosa Pine and 85 M ft. b.m. of Douglas Fir more or less. In addition there Is within the sale area an unestimated volume of merchantable older dead (unsound sapwood) saw-timber of all species which will be paid for at $1.00 per M ft. b.m. The minimum acceptable bid per M ft. b.m. for live and recently dead (sound sap- wood) timber Is: For pondcrosa pine logs $17.00, which Includes $12.25 for stumpago and $4.75 for slash disposal; for Douglas fir logs $10.55, which Includes $5.80 for stum-page and $4.75 for slash disposal. The term "stumpagc" includes deposit for sale area betterment A certified check, cashier's check, bank draft, or money order, payable to the Forest Service, USDA, in the amount of $1,000 must accompany each bid to be applied on the purchase price, refunded or retained in whole or in part as actual or liquidated damages according to the provisions of the bid. The right to reject any and all bids is reserved.
