Show THE WORD FROM BOULDEK By Nethella Griffin We are all happy to hear that the stroke suffered by Glen Ormond Thursday night has proved less serious than was feared. Rushed to the hospital at Panguitch during the night, he lay for several hours unable to speak or swallow, bul he gradually regained use of his throat muscles and in other ways seems to be mending fast. His son Morrell and wife are expected to arrive In Panguitch today from their home in Colorado Springs. Glen's wife Ruby also went back to Panguitch today. Among the crowds that thronged Temple Square this weekend were a few from Boulder. Idona Haws and Uv-ada Moosman visited relatives in Provo and attended part of the Conference In Salt Lake. Dorothy Lyman went early with her children so as to have time for visiting her parents in Salt Lake along with attending Conference. Bhhop and Mrs. Leland Haws and Ncta Poulsen likewise combined Conference with visiting and church business mat ters. So far -we haven't heard of any member of our "Money Tree" cast becoming seriously stage-struck, but it could happen, what with the compliments on their performance they are receiving. After successful presentations here and at Escalante, they will appear Thursday night in Panguitch, and one night, as yet undeter mined, in Tropic. Naturally the actors will be glad to be through with rehearsals and get back to normal life again. Still, if another opportunity came for presenting tlie play, they probably would take it if it meant a chance to add s few more dollars to the church building fund. Mr. and Mrs. Cecil Grlener were in Cedar City Thursday and Friday while Cecil received another medical check up. They brought Zelma Porter of Hatch home with them for a few days' visit. John Brink is spending a fsw weeks' leave from his Air Force base at Colorado Springs with his wife Chloe and baby at the home of her parents, the Parley Colemans, |
