Show To French Mission Miss Corls Slack A Missionary Testimonial ' for Coris Slack was held Jan. 4, 1959 In the Washington, D.C. ward of the LDS Church. Miss Slack left this past Monday for the French Mis-s.on, after spending a week In the Salt Lake Mission Home, whero she was visited by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. M. L. Slack of Panguitch. During World War II, Miss Slack was a member of the Services for two years. She received a degree from the University of Utah and accep ' 'ted an assignment In the Diplomatic Corps, spending thirty months overseas in Dakar, Africa, was assigned to Vienna, Austria for two years, and after a visit at homo was assigned to Washington, D.C. where she served in the Scandinavian department. While in Washington she filled a two year Stake mission, and she and a companion converted four people who were baptized into the LDS Church. |
