Show USU Hosts F&G Staff At Conservation Classes The Utah State University at Logan was host to all Utah Fish and Game personnel dur Ing the weeks of Jan. 12th to 23rd at their annual Wildlife Conservation short courses. According to Frank R.Daly, local conservation officer, the courses were ably directed by University professors under the direction of Dr. Jess B. Low of the Dept. of Wildlife Management. New advances In Range and Game Management were evaluated, with special emphasis being placed on upland game birds, such as the ring neck pheasant Utah's most important game bird. Also discussed wero migratory water fowl, Law enforcement efficiency, First Aid, and Fisheries management techniques. This annual refresher course is another way in winch our Fish & Game personnel ar.' keeping well equipped to better serve the residents of our State. There were 150 Fish& Game personnel at the school. |
