Show Power Companies Permitted To Liberalize Installation Procedure Foi Users Telluride Power Company and Utah Power & Light Company have been authorized by the Public Service Commission of Utah to liberalize their line extension policies effective July 30. The Utah company will increase tho sum it will spend to extend its service to permanent, non-seasonal customers without their financial participation or guaranteed billing from $150 to $400 while Telluride would increase the figure from $120 to $400. UP&L will continue to make extensions costing over $400 to residential and farm customers by expending up to the amount of the customer's gaurantced bill for a five year period. Telluride will build extensions costing over $400 to residential and farm customers when the amount guaranteed over a1 five year period equala the cost of the extension. For all other customers both companies will spend three times the amount' of the annual revenue which the customer guarantees. This provision will greatly liberal izo Telluride's present practice.
