Two patients went from here to Panguitch to have their tonsils removed; Marie, daughter of tho Walt Lcibenguths, and Stuart, small son of the McKay Baileys, both are doint OK. Somo items missed last week: Tho , LaVorn Griffins came from Nevada and spent several days, sec them come and go but didn't get to talk to them. The Lorin Cottams returned from an extended vacation, they traveled 4,728 miles, went to St. George and ppent two days in the Temple, then to Mesa, Arizona, Los Angeles and visited their daughter Rhea, her husband and nine children, from there to Cedar Hill, Texas where the other daughter, LaRene and her husband, Perry Neil and their three children live, then 150 miles to Chilton to visit their son-in-law's folks, they came back through Arizona and visited tho Temple, then to Las Vegas and had to go to Provo and back to Panguitch, then came on home with a Worthen fellow going to Boulder, their son Carl of Prova was, here when they got home, and Byron and family came from Springville for a few days of fishing. William Mitchell, the one of Mandy and William had ill of his children- here except daughter Nalda, for a reunion at Posey Lake, Amanda's daughter Lora and her husband were also here; the William Mitchell, step-father of John Zen; had a car load of friendj from California here. Orson Spencer came from Salt Lake City for a visit. Mr. and Mrs. Morris Shirts went to New York to meet their son Alpine and family who are returning from Iran; Morris had to get out of town anyway as ho shot and killed a dog b longing to Sopha Schurtz, So-pha didn't like It and told him o. ho offered to replace the animal but she didn't want him laying around the house. Howard Jensen came from New Mexico to get his wife Marva and daughters who have spent a month at the home of her parents, the Reed Wooleys; two of the little girls had .to be taken to the Panguitch hospital for treatment of bad colds.- Eliza Mclnelly was taken to the hospital and left there for treatment of infection, Ha Alvey took her over accompanied by Annie-Alvey and Elda Haws. Mayor and Mrs. Claron Griffin took their daughter Pauline over for treatment of a skin infection, they brought her back. J. C. Spencer and family of Mapleton were here visiting at the Clyde Spencer home; the Ken Griffins, Senior and the Kenneth Griffins Junior were all here, Donald Griffin left the hospital and went back to Provo but will .have to uridcrgo surgery on hls-eye damaged, by a fish hook. Mr. and Mrs. Hilo Boise had their j two daughters, Cheryl andAr deth and their families from Ogden visiting .them. Talked tc Sarah Heaps Saturday and bade her welcome home, Imagine my enbarrasmentwhen , she said she had been hero since May, she is such a quiet little soul and lives so far from us hadn't jseen her, her daughter Verna from Sali'na was hero visiting. ' Mr. and Mrs. Jerry 'Mitchell and daughter of California were visitors at the Eddie Mitchell home, Gayla's mother Carma and her current husband, a man they called Orson were also here,- the Tom Davenports of Salt Lake City were at the home of her par enta the Bish Schows. Mr. and Mrs. Joe Lay, former residents who now .I've In Washington and their daughter Gay and her husband wwe hero visiting friends and relatives. Mrs. Kemp Spencer, the former Orpha Munscn, was here visiting and, hunting apricots, that crop is a complete failure as near as wc know, we haven't any. Sopha Schurtz got word that her grandkids, Mr. and Mrs. Sherrill SchurU lost another baby, this makes their third, this one lived to be ten days old. Mr, and Mrs. Millard Davia and family moved to tho State of Washington where he has employment Mr. and Mrs. Thell Griffin and family are here visiting at tho Jodie Griffin home; Mrs. Shcrril Haws and family are also, here, Sherril is still in the Army. Golda Cottam celebrated her birthday anniversary with the help of Sariah Alvey, Sopha Schurti, Vcrda Griffin, Euzell Cottam and Iris Porter. Dee Haws, Usher Spencer and Arnold Alvey went to Richfield for dental appointments. The Melvin Alveys took their small son to Panguitch for treatment of ear infection, Mr. and Mrs. .pee Moosman of Lehi were weekend visitors at the Will R. Porter home, they left Brent with Ids grand parents. Blake Robinson Is gone every time there is a horse race, scads of people went to Panguitch for the races. Jean Griffin came from Wayne County to get her dau ghtcrs who had been visiting their grandparents, the Lorin Griffins; Alvln Griffin ls home on furlough. The Roland Porters got word that the Mer ril Porters of Arizona have another baby girl, tho Porters have son Haws and his family of Provo here again. More trailer houses with more strangers have moved into town, there are three parked on the old Lester Heap lot. The Gail Baileys went to Boulder to fish with Bishop and Mrs. Lcland Haws. Ths Wayne Baileys have taken all their earthly possessions and moved to, Salt Lake City. All of the descendants of MaryR. Mclnelly are planning a reunion In the near future. Mr and Mrs. Glade Reynolds and two daughters are visiting here. Lark Reynolds brought ho, kids from Cannonvillo to visit . their grandparents, Cliff and Maud, they have had oth er company, Ken and Thella Farthlngham from Helper. Aid Lane ftoynolda and son 01 Salt Lake City. Sheriff Middle-ton and twin sons of Panguitch were here, tho Sheriff looked real picas1-ant so it must have been a ' pleasure trip. Floyd Baker of Richfield was here again, it's hard to tell If Flo?d fs'fslllng or fishing. Reed Thompson came from Cedar City, Chad Hepler from Richfield and a, Ranger from Nevada, tffty joined Blake Robinson.
