Show PANGnrrcii The James Houston family reunion will be held July 25, at tho North Ward church beginning at 6 p.m. Attending funeral services for J. Earnest Syrett from Panguitch were Mr. and Mrs. J. Frank Houston, Irene Mc-Ewen, Mr. and Mrs. Reid Miller, Mr. and Mrs. Meltair Hatch, Nina Steele,- Molly Reid, Minnie Syrett, Armeda Farnsworth, Mr. and Mrs. Carl Syrett. Mrs. J. H. (Argie) Peterson has returned to Twin Falls,. Idaho .after spending the past month at the home of her sister, Mrs. Bern Miller. Argic came down to help care for her mother, Sadie Dodds who has been quite ill. Mrs. Jessie Judd Sparkman of Idaho is visiting with her sons Jn Alaska and they all send their regards to the Panguitch people. Weekend visitors at the Leonard Wilcock home were Clair Lister and son of Paro-wan and Mr. and Mrs. Grant Poulsen of Richfield; while here they enjoyed the races and local fishing. Jimmy Keller of Price is visiting at the home of hi grandmother, Mrs. Florence Houston. Mrs. Fern Wenzlnreld is recuperating at her home at Salt Lake after undergoing two major operations. Her daughter RoMel Robinson of Calif, is staying with her. Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Perk-Ins of Cedar City visited at the Floyd Worthen home and also enjoyed the races. Mr. and Mrs. Archie Hen rie and family of Ogden are visiting their parents, the Chester Henries and Mrs. Mar garet Haycock. Mrs. Haycock returned hbme Friday from a five day visit at Salt Lake with her daughter Mrs. Elizabeth Winegar. Visiting at the Jessie Gib-son home have been Mr. and Mrs. Jack Showalter of Sari Bernardino, Calif., Mr. and Mrs. Clark Wright of Morgan, Paul Wright and sister Mary 1 of San Diego. Mr. and -Mrs.-Arthur Tebbs and daughter Barbara came from Inglewood, Calif, to Join their three daughters who' have been visiting grandparents, Mr and Mrs. W. C. Tebbs; Mrs. Leevon Towle and daughter of Los Angeles have been visiting her mother Mrs Jano Brown. Mr. and Mrs. Douglas (Ar-dis) Larsen and family returned to Vernon after visiting for a week with Ardis' parents, Mr. and Mrs. EarlSe-vy. The Sevy's son Lyman of Pleasant Grove is visiting at their home now. Weekend visitors at the John Hatch home were Mr. and Mrs. Lee Peterson of Boise, Idaho, friends of Mrs. Hatch. Major and Mrs. Merlin E. Tebbs, daughters Janie and Teresa of Boise, Idaho visited at the Eva Tebbs and Carvei . Henrie homes over the weekend. Their son Bruce who has been visiting here this past month returned home with them. Lt. and Mrs. Robert Miller and family of Alameda, Calif, have been visiting his mother Mrs. Velta Miller before going to Corpus Christ!, Texas to visit her folks, and then to Washington State where he will be based with the Navy. |
