DeMont Cope is home for a short furlough, having spent the past year in tfcje Philippine Islands as a member of the Air Force. Dennis Nelson attended CEA Leadership school at Ogden last w'bek. Mr., and Mrs. Ben Cope are proud grandparents of a new grandson, their daughter Dott is the mother of the new boy. Harvey Mangum was a recent visitor here with his family Mrs. Ella Adair was a business visitor at Richfield Saturday. T Better Homes Club members had a white elephant party in the Home Ec room Thursday night. Aileen Se-vy, Clarice Nelson, Helen Goody were hostesses. Mrs. Marian Shakespear read some of her original poetry. Several small children have been 111 with measles. Parents should report any communicable diseases to the local health officer. Raymond Brinkerhoff trapped a nice sized bobcat Saturday. Aileen Sevy had a birth- day this past week. All who heard the ,Mls-sissippians Monday morning agree that the program was excellent. A quartet, compos-' ed of Hubert and James Munson, Milton Wells and George Sevy, sang the "Missionary Song". Helen Littlefield was In town for the weekend. Her brother Eddie returned to Salt Lake with her for a visit. Jay Shakespear and lady friend visited at the Alton Shakespear home Sunday. Mr. 'and Mrs. Elvin Sud-weeks and boys of Richfield and Mr. and Mrs. Parley Pratt and family were weekend visitors at the Claud Sudweeks home. Sunday School ward faculty meeting was held on Sunday evening. , |
