Show The Word From Boulder : . -() The "Mississlppians" Jubilee Singers entertained in Escalante Saturday and Sunday evenings. On Saturday Doyle Moosman took a school bus load of students and parents, Emma Jane Hansen, Lenora LeFevre and myself and Ann Coombs, Boulder teacher, to hear the singers, Mr. and Mrs. Cecil Alvey and family and the Emer-on Peterson family went also. Sunday evening nearly everyone lh Boulder who hadn't already heard them went to attend tho Singers program. While In Escalante Saturday I talked to Commissioner Jennings Allen. He told me he had just received the final papers for the incorporation of Boulder. In the very near future the commissioners will officially appoint a town president and four board members who will act until the next general flection in 1958 when the citizens of Boulder will select a new president and two board members. The other two to be held over. Saturday Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Heagren of Salt Lake City (the former Thlrza Hall) visited relatives and friends. Jt was Mr. Heagren's first trip to Boulder. Friday the county road grader driven by Thell Barney went to Circle Cliff to clear snow and a rock fall blocking a dog way. Monday to go back to Cedar .City preparatory to bringing' hlatwife and new son home. The Halls have one other son Terryj s -' Sunday afternoon Mr. and Mrs. Fred Johnson accompanied by parents "Mr. and Mrs.George Johnson of Salt Lake City came to vis-It Fern's parents, Mr. arid .'Mrs. Parley Coleman.
