Show PANGUITCn Mrs. Keith Partridge and infant daughter left Sunday to .visit her parents in Circleville Billy McAllister had his 4th birthday party on Tuesday. Mr. and Mrs. LeGrande - Farnsworth and family ana Mrs. Minnie Syrett were week end visitors at Salt Lake. Mr. and Mrs V. R. Johnson of Salt Lake spent a couple of days this week with her mother Mrs. Annie Riggs. Mr. and Mrs. Stanley D-Tebbs and daughter Janet were visitors at Salt Lake from Wednesday to Saturday Mr. and Mrs. Daniel Tebbs of Cedar City spent Wednesday to Friday with his parents Mr. and Mrs D. A. Tebbs; Mrs Rula Houston accompanied them here and was a guest at the Clarence Cameron and Mary D. Sargent homes. Mr. and Mrs. Mart McAllister took Mrs. Lula Dickinson to Cedar City last week, where Lula boarded a bus for Calif.; she will visit therewith her son Jay and daughter Molly, and families. Mrs. Beth Evans and children of Las Vegas spent the weekend at Salt Lake with her aunt and uncle, Allie and Ned Miller. The American Legion Auxiliary met at the home of Mrs Glade Owens Thursday afternoon. A program and lunch wore enjoyed by 22 ladies. Mrs. Louise Englestcad and children of St. George visited Friday and Saturday with her mother Mrs. Ruth Henrie. Doyl and Kathryn Ipson left Monday for Cedar City, where both will attend CSU. Mr. and Mrs. Maloy Dodds are parents of a baby girl born March 15th at Cedar City. A sister and two brothers are home to welcome her. Proud grandparents are Mr. and Mrs Thos. Dodds and Mrs. Ruth Henrie. The Literary Club will meet at the home of Mrs. Earl Marshall on Monday, March 24, at 3 p.m. Orla Webb has gone to Pro-vo to enter BYU where she will major in commercial art and designing. Her mother Mrs. Ida Webb accompanied her. Susan Owens had her 10th birthday on Sunday but celebrated the occasion a bit early with a party 011 Friday. Bonnie Owens was in the hospital for two days receiving medical care. Mrs. Margaret Daly is still in the hospital receiving medical care. Mr. and Mrs. Archie Henrie of Ogden are parents of a baby girl born March 16th. The happy grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Chester Henrie and Mrs. Margaret Haycock. Elizabeth Haycock, who is a student nurse at Salt Lake, is home visiting her mother, Mrs. Margaret Haycock. Mrs. Mary Jane Schow is reported to be improving after being seriously ill. Phillip Farnsworth has recently been honored again at the U of U, when he was elected to Phi Kappa Phi, national honorary scholastic fraternity. Cora Cooper was hostess to the Monday Night bridge club. After refreshments at the Flying M Cafe the ladies retired to her home to play bridge Mr. and Mrs. Thomas R. Houston visited over the week end at Salt Lake with daughters, Mrs. Cleone Major and Mrs. Gay Pearce, and their families. |
