Show Escalcmte Girls Who Attended FHA Meet Ruth Robinson Alice Ann Christiansen Biggs and Philip Robertson of Alton on Sunday; the LaVal Sawyers of Mt Carmel, and Gerald Wilson of St. George, over the weekend. The PTA meetting was held in the school house Friday evening, a big percent of our people attended; Supt. Russell Merrell was also present. The Hatch orchestra played puline Griffin five FHA girls from Escal-antc made a weekend trip to Salt Lake City to attend the State convention. There were Ruth, daughter of the Blake Robinsons; Yulon, daughter of the Roland Porters; Pauline, daughter of the Claron Griffins; Alice Ann, daughter of the Rich Christiansens; La Vee, daughter of the Ariel Alveys. for a farewell dance in Alton Friday for Delbert Palmer and Udel Hoyt. Mr. and Mrs. Clark Evans visited her folks in Salina a couple of days last week. Visiting Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Sawyer Sunday were the Lyle Sawyers, of Panguitch and the Phil Hoyts of Order-ville. Garth Heap and Eldon Porter were business visitors in Salt Lake City last week. Mrs. James Burrows is home after spending the past two weeks in Salt Lake City. Ann Huntington spent the weekend i n Panguitch with friends. Mr. and Mrs. Karl Lowder went to Kanab Friday on business. Arnold Sawyer, who is employed near Moab, visited his family last week. The Desmon Deuels of Blue Diamond, Nev. visited for two days with his mother Mrs. Ef-fie Deuel. Mr. and Mrs. Paul Wilson visited in Provo last week. A number of our MIA members participated in the Stake Musical Festival in Panguitch Tuesday evening. |
