Show ENGAGED Miss Carolyn Smith Mr. and Mrs. Barton Smith of Henrieville announce the engagement of their daughter Carolyn to Lynn Davies ot Fillmore. Miss Smith is a junior at BYU and doing student nursing. Mr. Davies is a sophomore at the U of U in the school of Engineering, and has served four years in the Air Force. They plan a Juno wedding in the St. George Temple. SMITH CHRISTENSEN ! i . ' , , : Miss Marilyn Smith, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Barton H. Smith of Henrieville, spoke wedding vows with Wm. Kay Christensen, son of Mr. and Mrs. William L. Christensen of Salt Lake City. The ceremony was performed in the Salt Lake LDS Temple by President El Ray L. Christiansen. Following the ceremony the couple were honored by a luncheon at Har-man's Cafe. A reception was given that evening for the newly "weds at the Salt Lake Thirteenth Ward Chapel. Attending the bride was her twin sister, Miss Carolyn Smith, as maid of honor; sister Miss Inez Smith, Miss Donna Christensen, sister of the groom; Miss Myrle Anderson, and Miss Ann Watson. Richard Crebs stood as best man. Ushering were Jerry Christensen and Donald Da-oust. On March 8th, a reception was held in Henrieville for the newly weds. The program, with Ella Adair of Tropic as master of ceremonies, consisted of a duet by Bishop and Mrs. Harve Chynoweth; solo by Inez Smith; musical reaching, Lael Chynowelh; song, Whorton Allen, Geo. Sevy, James and Hubert Munson, of Tropic; song, Mada Wilson, Sharon Griffin and Ella Munson; jokes by Bryan Johnson and Dar Smith. After honeymooning I n Southern Utah, the couple will make their home in Salt Lake City. |
