Show PANOUTTCH Mr. and Mrs. Otto Norton and son and Mrs. Fay Lynn spent the Thanksgiving holiday at Nephi with sister Etta Lattimer. Mr. and Mrs. Sam Halter-man of Parowan visited witn, their daughter, and family Mr. and Mrs. Adrian Dalton; while the Daltons made a trip to Og-den and Salt Lake; the grandparents took charge of the children and stayed on to visit over the Thanksgiving holidays with theDaltons. The Jaycettes Club met at the home of Kathy Wehging this past Monday. Sue Dalton assisted her in duties of the hostess, ' Mrs. Vera Perkins Just returned from Salt Lake where she went to spend the holidays with her sister Lolita Shaffer. Mrs. Florence Houston is home after .visiting for a few weeks in Price with ner daughter and family, Mr. and Mrs. Paul C. Keller. Saturday visitors at Richfield were Mrs. Ruth Tebbs. Neucile Dodds, and Mrs. Ray Tebbs and daughter Julia Ann. Mr. and Mrs. Jack Large had his parents from Salt Lake visiting with them recently. Thursday night bridge club was held at the Flying M cafe with Lyda Talbot as hostess. Guests ' were Mamie Hatch, Lcona Talbot, Wenda Sandin and Mary Coons. Mr. and Mrs. Carvel Henrie and .Mr,, and Mrs .Frank. Hen;, rie spent the weekend in Salt Lake City. Mr. and, Mrs. Karl Jolliff of Portland, Oregon, have been guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. J. Usher Henrie this week. Mrs. Jolliff and Mrs. Henrie were neighbors in Portland, a long time ago. Visiting at the Alton Hep-worth home last Friday were Mrs.. Liza Cox, Mrs. Lucy Crofts and Mrs. Bessie Crofts of Orderville. Mrs. Ida Webb and Aria 'are home from Salt Lake; Aria spent about ten days there for medical observation . before it was .decided she'didn't have to undergo an operation. Visiting with Mrs: Tillie Clark were Mr. and Mrs. Gerry Ellis and family of Calif. Mr. and Mrs. James Myers announce the arrival of a new grandson, born .Dec. 3rd to Mr. and Mrs. Lewis W. Myers Bf Mldvale. The Leonard Wilcocks report that their son Joe Wilcock who is in Germany with the 3rd Armored Division, was promoted to Sergeant on the 20th of November. Mr. and Mrs. Bill Hurst are home after' spending ten days up north. They visited at the Vermon Barney home in Or-em and got acquainted with their new granddaughter; for Thanksgiving they dined with son William D. Hurst and family at Ogden, and also visited at Salt Lake with daughter and family, Dr. and Mrs. Ralph Tingey. Mr. and Mrs. Jim Yardley were weekend visitors at Salt Lake City. Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Veat-er and family of Sandy spent Thanksgiving with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Roy Veater. George Proctor was chosen 1st Vice President of the Southern Utah Wildlife Federation at a meeting ol the Board of Directors held recently in Cedar City. J. Usher and Dolly Henrie went up- to Orem Tuesday for the monthly meeting of the USWRCA. They were over night guests at the Preston Winterbottom home at Mt Pleasant. Champ C. Myers has moved his family from Cedar City to Boulder City, Nevada. Dr. Bill Mason and Mr. and Mrs. Vaughn Krebs and son made an overnight trip to Salt Lake last Friday. |
