The following relatives enjoyed an outing Tuesday, eating lunch In Red Canyon, then going on to Ilryre: Allle Gottfredson, Irene Smith, Mr. and Mrs. Karl Wood. Mr. and Mra. Shep Haycock, Mr. and Mrs. Jim Haycock, Lois Whit J 1 taker, Fern Norton and daughter Dorothy, Ella W. Lewla and daughter Shirley, and Mrs. Jonn Whittaker. The Primary children, under direction or President Eva Wood, look part Wednesday morning In a "around the block parade". They paraded from the high school 'to the post office and back where they had a program on tne lawn and each child received a "milk nlckle." It was an outstanding affair and received a lot ot praise from spectators. John Grleshy accompanied Earl Whittaker to Salt Lake Thursday to visit his two daughters a few days. Members of Better Homes Club No. 9 enjoyed an outing up City Creek Wednesday afternoon. The women entertaining the others and furnishing that good food were Leah Wood, Irene Smith, Indra Johnson, and Fern Norton. Mrs. Dwlght Fullmer was happily surprised when her sister, Mrs. Lee Esplln, and husband and two children called to spend the night Wednesday. They were on their way home to St. George from Salt Lake. ' Visitors at the Cleon Davis home were Mr. and Mrs. Lester Rarnson of Ely, Nev. They returned home Saturday, leaving their two children to visit a couple ot weeks. Mrs. Dell Reynolds and daughter Brenda attended the Erwln reunion In Lake Town. Mrs. Mary Wiley returned to Payson Saturday, after being with her sister Vina Munson since the death ot the latter's husband. Mr. and Mrs. Leon Dalton visited his mother In Delta for the 24 th. Mr. and Mrs. Harold Fullmer ate parents or a baby girl, Anna-atada. Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Mcintosh' were 24th guests or her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Wiltshire. Mr. and Mrs. Ed, Darts spent a number ot days visiting, their children In American Fork, Salt take and Logan. Mrs. Don! Lamb Bentltfy and husband of Las Vegas visited the Reynolds' families last week. Mr, and Mrs. Cecil Montague and son and Gloria Morgan motored down from Salt Lake Sunday to spend Cecil's birthday here. Cecil and Gloria returned Monday but Alma and Roger stayed lo visit her brother Francis while he Is home on furlough. Lorln Ilalllday came from Cal. Friday to visit. He and his mother, Mrs. Elsie Sim kins, left (or northern points to see other members ot the family. Guests over the "week at the Dwlght Fullmer home were their children, Mr. and Mrs, Clem Fullmer and son Greg, and Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Proctor. Mr. and Mrs. Sam MarUn ot Garfield visited her sister, Mrs. Rile Norton, the past week. Mr. and Mrs. Taylor Reynolds spent several days at Suit Lake and called on the Jack Reynolds family In American Fork on their way home. Mr. and Mrs. Weldon Slmklns and girls spent a week at Salt take selecting equipment for their new home. Mr. and Mrs. Douglas Q. Cannon and, daughter attended a Cannon reunion at Salt Lake last week. General Robert M. Cannon was there on his way to the Philippines. While away the Cannons visited the Logan, Idaho Falls and Alberta Temples; Glacier National Park, Waterton 'takes In Canada, and other points or Interest. Mr. and Mrs. Kent Servel or Oakland, Calif, visited their cousin, Leah Wood, over the weekend. Mrs. Juantta Lewis had all her children home with her Sunday. Francis Spencer, son or Mr. nnd Mrs. Rulon Spencer, is home on a two week furlough. (Received too late ror last week) Mrs. June Schow or Pangultch visited her rather, Albert Nay, several days this week. The Joe Pearson family and Mrs. Nora Pearson returned home Monday from Provo where they attended a family reunion. Mr. and Mrs. LeRoy Moosman and family left Friday ror Idaho Falls to attend the Edmund Thompson reunion. Mr. and Mrs. John Bucklar visited In Pangultch, Wednesday. Mr. and Mrs. Nord Jenkins of Salt Lake and Miss Peterson vls-r Ited two days at the Ronald Jenkins home. Mario Davis narrowly escaped being hurt seriously Monday at-" ternoon when his tractor, drawn by a baler, turned over when the bridge broke at Reynolds ranch. |
