Show "HEARTS OF THE WORLD" D. W. Griffith is certainly a play writer of fame. His production, pro-duction, "Tlio Blirth of a Nation" Na-tion" took the world by Btorm, but "Hearts of tho World" simply sim-ply outclassed all his previous efforts along tho line of picture plays. The production of "Hearts of the World" at the LiyeHy Theatre In this city last Saturday afternoon nnd evening, even-ing, gave splendid satisfaction. The pretty lovo story, mingled with exciting war scenes, and tho splendid orchestra Bimply held the audience spell-bound. Each and every advance made by the French, British, Irish or the Scotch brought forth rounds of applause and when tho Americans Ameri-cans came on the scene, the whole house went wild with enthusiasm. en-thusiasm. Everybody stood up when the orchestra played the national aires and the whole picture pic-ture was praised from start to finish by everybady who were fortunate enough to witness it. The picture Is a historlcle production pro-duction and is batted on facts which" gives it strength. Wo would not have missed Ic for double-the price. |
