Wheat-ley, Wheat-ley, chairman of the County Board of Examiners, announces the complete returns of those from 18 to 45 years, Inclusive, who registered before tho respective res-pective registration agents of the county on Sept. 12th, as follows: fol-lows: Number registered, 1995; of these, 1585 aro native-born citizens; citi-zens; 78 nnturullzcd citizens, 56 citizens by father's naturalization naturaliza-tion ; 43 who havo declared their intention to become citizens and 2'M aliens. Among them arc whites, 188G; 105 orcntials; 4 Indians; no negroes. Provost General Crowdcr lms announced that tho first call to tho colors of men who registered register-ed September 12th, will Include men in tho 19 and 20-year old classes and in tho classes from 32 to 3G Inclusive. Qucstlon-aries Qucstlon-aries will go first, ho BayB, to registrants within these specified Uge limits, and local boards will bo ordered to classify them first In rcadlucBS for calls beginning October 1st. Young men in tho 39 and 20-year 20-year old classes, General Crowdcr Crow-dcr said, will bo accepted for Induction In-duction into the students' nrmy training corps, but ho pointed out that the authorized strength of this corps is only 150,000 men, whereas tho total number of registrants below 20 years will bo 3,000,000. Mr. Wheatley advised that in talking: with Captain Fitz Gerald Ger-ald over the -telephone, ho was luformed that the stato of Utah will be called upon for about 450 menthe week of October 7th and Box Elder county would bo required to furnish about 30 or 4o men.
