Wood of Garland North, was injured in a fall from a horse he was riding last Sunday morning. He received several scratches and bruises about tho face and was quite severely Bhaken up. Mrs. Joseph Jensen nnd Son, LnMnr, of St. Anthony, Idaho, visited relatives hero a few days this week. Mrs. Jensen came down specially to visit her sister Mrs. Niels Nielson whose health Is poor. They took in the Peach Day celebration at Brig-ham Brig-ham City Wednesday. . Mr. and Mrs. J. M. They cooled the atmosphere, soaked the ground for fall plowing and gave the beets a good drink. Probably some grain and hay wcro slightly slight-ly damaged but the vast amount of good done by tho rain will counter-balance tho damage. S. Y. Shlbato's fine Paige car now looks like a cyclone had struck it. There were so many cars on tho road and in attempting to pass another car at a sharp turn, the car skidded and went Into the ditch. Fortunately none of he passengers were injured. in-jured. 'James J. Jim had a little asthma trouhlo when ho left Salt Lake, but the trouble trou-ble vanished when ho reached tho coast. |
