Show Vmm S- Cm Cm Mrs. Lottio Lant entertained tho members of the Ladies Solf-Culturo Solf-Culturo Club at hor home on Factory street Thursday afternoon after-noon of this week. Prest. Colia M. Grover presided and the roll call showed 14 members present and the following ladies were guests of the Club: Mosdames Roxoy Phelps, Phobo Jonson, Edith Searle and Miss Mary Millard. A letter was read from the State Federation concerning Woman's Clubs. Tho following officers were elected for tho term of (5 months: Celia M. Grover, president; Annie Edwards, vice-president and chairman of the Amusement committee; Members of Amusement Amuse-ment committee: Mario Wing, May Fife; Secretary Mrs. Lucy A. Clark; Asst. Secy., Mrs. Grace Evans; Reading oom-mitteej oom-mitteej Essie Foulger, Maud Somsen, Pearl Foulger. Mrs. Hilda Nordquist favored tho Club with an instrumental selection and Mrs. Lottie B. Smitg sang tho solo "Sweet Attpn." Tho following wore named as chairman of the soveral committees com-mittees to arrange for a grand character ball to be given Fob. 22nd Washington's birthday. - Invitation Nellie Roeo ; Costume Cos-tume Lottio B. Smith; Rer froshments Agnes Wheolon. Delicious refreshments were I served and tho Club adjourned I for two weeks to meet at the home of Mrs. Rose Vanfleot. |
