Ward Conference. A conference of tho Garland Ward was held In this city last Sunday, Stako Conuselor L A Snow and J D Peters of the High Council belug present. Tbo forenoon session was given over to the Sunday Schools and various exercises woro given, ltcports were heard from a number of tho organizations. In tho afternoon af-ternoon the remainder of tho organizations organiza-tions were reported and tho general and local officers of tho church presented aud sustained. Addresses were made by Up. W L Grovcr, D E Manning, Joseph Jensen, J. D. Peters, M, Pratt and L A Snow. The ward choir furnlshud some tine singing for tho occasion. A conference of the East Garland ward wns held the same afternoon, Counselor C Horslcy und Wilfred Hceder being In attendance. In tbo evening tho M I Ass'ns met In regular session and a special meeting was held at the Garland North school houso.
