Show GRAND BALL By the "The Swellest Dance of tho Season" voices tbo sentiments of nil who took In tbo Grand ball given at the ball Wednesday Wednes-day evening by the members of tho Hap py Hour Club. Over one hutidscd of Garland's lending society lights participated partici-pated In tbo danco that will long be remembered re-membered by all nR"onocoutlnual round of pleasure." Messrs. Olsen and Ilaxtcr, electrical experts, ex-perts, gave each couple a pleasant (?) introduction in-troduction to Mr. Electricity us they en-terod en-terod the building. The ball was tasto fully decorated In purple and white crepe, the colors of the club, and the side wall bore tho letters II II 0, A neat program pro-gram or order of dance was distributed to all. Each member of the club wore the otllelal plu tho royal scroll nnd the club colors, Tho music was furnished by the Garland Dance Orchestra. During Dur-ing the evening Mr. II Urldenbcckcr aud Miss Sarah Fowler each sang a solo, leu cream, punch and cako wore served on tho sUgo and tho whole affair was a rouslug success both socially uud Unan dally. After 11 o'clock thednuco was turned into a Leap Year party aud tho ladles given an opportunity to choose their partners. The committees who arranged and so successfully conducted the affair deservo considerable credit. Hats off to the H. II 0. |
