Show I Here and There. John Hales, barbor, of Ogdon, spent the 4th in Garland. David Dorton went to Lohi "Wednesday to spend a few days. Mrs. A. Murie spent Sunday and Monday in Salt Lake City. Millard G rover and Carlton Rogers spent tho 4th in Ogden. i Miss Laura Olsen of Ogden is the guest of Mrs. P. A. Nordquist. Nord-quist. Mrs. Mosiah Evans was a passonger to tho state capital Tuesday. P. A. Nordquist was an Ogdon visitor tho fore part of this week. Charlio Edwards returned Tuesday from a trip to Salt" Lake and Lohi. Mr. and Mrs. H. C. Cutler have gone on an outing to Strawberry Valley. 0. J. Campbell is assisting Cashier M. D. Evans as, teller at tho Bank of Garland. Joe Brown came up from Ogdon last Saturday and spent the fore part of this week in fown. Miss Abby Groesbeek of Logan, sister of AV. J. Groesbeek, Groes-beek, spent tho fore part of this week in Garland. ' Mrs. Mario Nordquist of Ogdon, mother of P. A. Nordquist, Nord-quist, spent tho fore part of this week in Garland. Miss Mary G rover has accept ed the position of stenographer and typewriter at tho office of tho Utah-rldaho Sugar Co. Parley Parker of Uma, Arizona, Ari-zona, brother of Mrs. W. E. Vanfieet, spent a few days last week in this city. Ho returned homo last Saturday. Mr. and Mrs. T. H. Edwards spent Saturday and Sunday in Salt Lake. They loft yesterday for Seattle to attend the Alaska-Yucon-Pacific Exposition and will bo gone for about thirty days. A horse and buggy belonging to tho Sugar Co. went dashing down Factory Street Thursday j evening. Nobody hurt and tho j horse gave the buggy a swift j slide into tho company's barn i without injury. D. C. Chapman and Miss Hazel Evans went to Salt Lake last Saturday. Mr. Chapman returned Tuesday evening and Miss Evans will spend a fow days with relatives in Lohi prior to her return.
