Under the auspices of the yearly employees of the Utnh-Idnho Sugar company, a grand ball was given at the amusement hall Wednesday ovon-lng ovon-lng for the benefit of Joseph II. Klrk-j Klrk-j ham, who leaves next week for a mls- islon to the State of California. Neat Invitations were Issued to the yearly employees nnd a few specially Invited guests. The hall was well filled and a pleasant evening was spent by all (n attondnnce.. The mu. sic was furnished by the Clayton-l Clayton-l Evans-Hawa-Grovcr orchestra. Mr. Kirkham expressed his thanks and appreciation for tho I same. Dancing was then engaged In until tho midnight hour. i The Garland Sunday School, ward choir and the Ladles' Self-Culturo Club have arranged a grand basket ball to bo given at the hall tonight for the benefit of Joseph II.
